Education is important for everyone whether they’ve been riding for decades or are just considering purchasing a motorcycle. Of course the course can’t stop all accidents and injuries – but many people come back and say they’ve avoided crashes because of the class.

Many students say that the motorcycle safety course is outstanding and helps them feel more comfortable on their machine. It also helps them learn to pay closer attention their surroundings and avoid mishaps.

We invite you to attend one of our events and just have a good time with some good people. For more information about our rider education or to sign up for classes today Click Here.

Motorcycle Training Classes in the Valley

Valley ABATE is founded with the mission of providing motorcycle training and educating about our Alaska motorcycle community.

motorcycle training

We accomplish this by:

  • Encouraging motorcycle awareness by working with our local and state agencies as well as concerned individuals to establish motorcycle awareness. We encourage motorcycle awareness by asking all motorists to watch out for motorcycles and share our roads.
  • Proudly offering motorcycle riding classes over many years. This program trains riders of different skill levels to ride defensively and safely on Alaskan roads. Upon successful completion of one of our courses a completion card is issued to waive further testing and receive your motorcycle endorsement.

Valley ABATE strongly believes in individual freedom and protecting our rights to ride by working within the legislative and regulatory process. Our goal is to keep motorcycling free from unjust and unwarranted laws and to promote those that benefit motorcyclists. Valley ABATE believes that a safer rider is more beneficial than a “safer crash”… In other words “Education, not legislation”

Finally, like all motorcycle organizations, we do enjoy the camaraderie of friends and family. As such we support the runs of others and even have a few of our own to say thanks to our members and supporters. We invite you to attend one of our events and just have a good time with some good people.
